The Impact of International Education

My name is Ashu Yadav and I’m from India. I live in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. and Uttar Pradesh is one of the most populous state in India. It’s one of the most beautiful city in India. I grew up in my mother’s family where I live with my uncle, with my maternal
grandfather and grandmother, so it’s like a very happy place to live with my
uncles and I have really good connections with them and they treat me
like their own child and so it’s it’s good to be with them. I was at my school
and talking to one of my teachers. He told me about a scholarship and I said
“Okay, I’ll give the test”. Got accepted and then I got my visa I got my everything – date
the college name and I’m here. Getting education in America – that too on
a scholarship, so it’s like a blessing to us. I’ve never been away from my family
ever since childhood, so coming here away from the family for a long period of
time and being independent here was a biggest challenge for me like I have to
do all my things like my laundry, my cooking and everything by my own. I’ve
never thought that I would be able to do it. When I came to this college I thought
I don’t know what to do. How is, how is everything going to happen? But the
instructors here are really helpful I mean, they will teach you each and
everything and if you have any questions you can ask them anytime like through
emails or after classes or even in the class. So, I’m blessed to be here. I’m studying journalism and it’s my passion from like early childhood that I
want to be journalist. But besides that, I have to do something for my community too. I’ve been grown up in an atmosphere I’ve
seen children and women facing a lot. I want to work for the people and
address their problems and tell the truth to the public. That’s it. I love hanging out with my friends,
especially at night time. Sometimes we all, the CCI program mates,
meet at one apartment then we play games like truth and dare or play guitars or
sing and dance so and even sometimes we all prepare the cultural food for each
other since we are from 10 different countries. Education is important because
it will take you to the point where you want to be. This is a great opportunity.
This is a great program and if you are looking for being in this program, just
go for it.
