  1. How can they name authors but not a single title of a book?! Same if somebody would ask me and i'd say "uhhh, yeah like J.K. Rowling ya know". Like dafuq, how can a person be that stupid?

  2. I feel like americans are the kind of persons that focuse only one thing in their life and don't know literally anything outside of that

  3. Pick any word. BAM, it's most likely a book title.

Happy. Lovely. Amerika. Lemonade. etc etc.

    These people were just nervous.

  4. Bro literally I don’t read but Harry Potter is pretty popular & I’m sure everyone knows atleast one book they might’ve felt pressured or then again they recorded this in LA so you know how those people are

  5. I feel like I would not answer. If you said something like name a fantasy book, or a book by a specific author, I most likely would. But ANY book is so generic that it's hard to come up with an answer on the spot.

  6. This was all shot in LA, right? I'm not surprised that people in that city aren't readers.
When you ask someone a random ass question while shoving a camera and a mic in their face and telling them to randomly name a book, it's natural to blank out.
I read a lot and I feel like my mind would go completely blank. That's so random.

  7. You could name so many movies or films as a way out and they didn’t. Harry Potter, hunger games, Alice and wonderland (Alice’s adventures in wonderland), series of unfortunate events, it, pet semetery, even Romeo and Juliet or Macbeth, Hamlet. I mean come on people 🤦🏽‍♀️

  8. Guys I'm on librarian and information studies and most of my class doesn't read books either. This is an exaggeration and just for fun but it's common among our generation.

  9. I think
They cant name books because they actually dont read 'book' books
Instead they read e books or stories online.

  10. I'm not a big book lover but If I were put into that situation, I would've said "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The lightning thief"
Because I listened to the musical and I got the book to actually understand wtf is going on-
